What makes Parkvision unique? According to Mark Pratt, Denison’s President, “we can run multiple machines all out of one place with one person per shift,” Pratt said.
What are the upsides of using Parkvision? “The benefits to us and our customers are tremendous, but the biggest plus is to the parker. They feel comfortable with the technology, and accept it more quickly,” stated Pratt.
“The ability to see the people our employees are helping gives the CSR a feeling of ownership. Also, since they know the customer can see them, they are always on their toes. The two-way video helps everyone. “The video system has totally changed the way we operate,” Pratt said. “We can now be proactive.”

“Using Cryotech NAAC® together with Cryotech CF7® has allowed the hospital to extend the life expectancy of our parking decks from 20 to 30 years. The annual maintenance saving has more than paid for the cost of the deicing products.”

Sentry Control Systems, Inc. (www.sentrycontrol.com) has been extremely satisfied with the services and the “dedicated to the customer’s needs” approach Digital Printing Systems (DPS) has provided over the years. In many instances, Digital has made significant efforts to customize the tickets required in some very challenging valet operations, which seems to truly make all the difference in the eye of the customer. Thanks for all you do…

When Amerisweep decided to replace the old pressure washers we used for cleaning parking facilities, our top priorities were to reduce labor and water usage. Advance’s Cyclone™ 4500 was the first ride-on pressure washer I’d seen, and with its water recycling system, the machine just made sense. Before Cyclone, Amerisweep assigned four to six people at each cleaning job. Now we clean the same ramps with only one person and the ride-on Cyclone. The Cyclone has a self contained water recovery system that reclaims and recycles the water it uses. We don’t need a constant supply of water like we did with walk-behind pressure washers, and there’s no standing water left behind. Finding a better alternative to labor-intensive walk-behinds helps us bid projects very competitively. Plus, using less water is an environmental concern at many of the parking facilities we clean. The Cyclone has reduced our labor requirements, and we’re cleaning “green.”

Trans-Tech has provided Pacific Cascade/DGM Systems with a wide variety of parking signage over the years, including wayfinding and space available signs. Their signs are high quality, bright and easy for parkers to see. Navigating through some parking garages isn’t an easy task, but with LED signs, it’s much easier to accomplish and much less stressful for the parkers. Less confusion in the garage, as well as bright space available signs outside the garage, leads to fuller lots and increased revenue.
Not only does Trans-Tech provide a reliable product, they provide world class customer support. Our orders ship in a timely manner and they deliver on what they promise. It’s not only important to us to work with manufacturers who offer great products, but it’s equally important for us to find those who make it easy to do business with them

The City of Santa Cruz has had a very good experience with the GMG Systems parking equipment. GMG’s equipment is currently installed in two locations within our City, one at the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and another in a downtown parking garage. The Wharf Gate serves, on average, 55,000 parkers per month and we have had virtually no issues with any of the GMG equipment since 2006. The downtown pay stations are working fabulously and we especially like the Web based access capabilities which allows us to manage the parking operation from remote locations.
The proof of a good supplier is in the question, “Would we purchase this equipment again?” And the answer for GMG is an outstanding YES. GMG is a very good firm to work with.

Wide-Lite VizorLED is an unusually intelligent, well-designed parking garage lighting fixture. It eliminates the glare factor from low-ceiling conditions, important to driver visual comfort. It creates a nondirect-view LED illumination from an architectural rectangular cell. Its shape blends well on concrete ceilings and when spaced in a grid, consistent, evenly distributed pleasant lighting levels can be achieved.
The uplight component creates another level of visual comfort by
highlighting the ceiling, creating the sense of a higher space. An elegant heat-sink design almost disappears when looking along the linear direction, so that the fixture appears thinner in perception.
Benefits of the VizorLED design include: very low LED energy consumption, high lumen output, very long life and minimal maintenance. VizorLED is a great selection for parking garages and other low-ceiling applications.

“We were looking for a complete citation management solution that could streamline the entire process – from issuance to collections. We knew we wanted a real-time wireless system and integrated photographic evidence to reduce dismissals and appeals. vCitePlus, by Velosum, was very different than any other citation management system we reviewed. The digital pen allows our officers the ease and convenience of handwriting citations, and because it is electronic, we still get the benefits of a fully digital system. The administrative portal is easy to use, generates valuable reports, and has simplified our collection process. Using vCitePlus, our appeal rate is down, the citation count is up nearly 30% and collections are up over 15%. Velosum has been very responsive to our needs and we appreciate all of the updates we receive as part of their service.”

Transportation and Parking Services at Lehigh University consistently strives to sharpen its mission, part of which is to provide the Lehigh community with safe, and well-maintained parking options. In 2007, we installed POM electronic parking meter technology. The 300 meters are color-coded and each has a programmable “press for free time” button, meaning that users can press the meter button for five minutes of free parking.
Revenue security is maximized through the use of POM’s patented, secure SmartLock, whereby a special collection card must be inserted into the meter to enable the vault key to turn. Lastly, the meters are flexible as far as fees go. Lehigh can turn all of the meters off, or increase the cost to use them, with every little effort. We’ve been extremely pleased with utilizing POM Incorporated for our parking technology.

Space available signs are a great way of updating the look of your parking garage and attracting new patrons to your facility. Space available signage efficiently directs traffic to your parking lot and shows the number of available spaces remaining on each level. They can also be used to indicate if a parking lot or specific level is open or full. All space available signs are completely customizable
